Chase White's Directorial Work Wins Three 2025 Telly Awards

Chase White May 20, 2025

Announced last night, recent directorial work from Chase has garnered one silver Telly award and two gold Telly awards.

The Telly Awards are a prestigious recognition program that honors excellence in video and television across all screens, from traditional broadcast to social media content. They were founded in 1979 and now celebrate diverse categories of video work, including branded campaigns, social media, immersive experiences, and more.

More specifically, the Telly’s celebrate the following qualities in media:

  • Focus on video excellence: The Tellys are not just about where the video is shown (TikTok, TV, etc.), but about the quality of the video itself.

  • Global recognition: The Telly Awards welcome submissions from around the world, regardless of language or country of origin.

  • Community-oriented: Being a Telly Awards winner means becoming part of a network of industry professionals.

  • Thought leadership: The Telly Awards aim to be thought leaders in the industry, influencing trends and best practices in video creation.

See below for more details on the awards and the projects the awards were granted for:

Gold Winner: Love of the Taco

Category: Campaign-Promotional

Criteria: Branded content campaign or series (2 - 5 pieces max) produced to launch or elevate a brand.

Client: Toyota Tacoma

About: The goal of this campaign was to celebrate the stories of different fanatical Toyota Tacoma owners. In this series, we told the stories of Jesse Griffiths and Brooke Goudy. Jesse is an Austin-based chef, James Beard Award-winning author, hunter, and fisherman, and he’s also the co-owner of Dai Due Butcher Shop & Supper Club and the New School of Traditional Cookery. Brooke Goudy is an athlete, and outdoor adventure advocate. She is the owner of Rowdy Goudy, a health and wellness organization dedicated to introducing outdoor adventure sports to women of color, and redefining what it means to participate in active living.

Gold Winner: Discovering Yellowstone

Category: Campaign-Food & Beverage

Criteria: Branded content campaign or series (2 - 5 pieces max) created for the food and beverage industry.

Client: Yellowstone Bourbon

About: This series is supported by Yellowstone Bourbon, a large donor to the National Parks Conservation Association. To date, Yellowstone Bourbon has donated over $1,000,000 to the NPCA. The goal of this series is to help viewers learn interesting conservation and advocacy stories from the park, it’s natural wonders, and the efforts to protect them.

Silver Winner: Ultimate Mountain Athlete

Category: Campaign-Sports

Criteria: Branded content campaign or series (2 - 5 pieces max) pertaining to sports.

Client: Toyota Tacoma

About: Outside invited eight pro mountain athletes to Colorado’s epic San Juan Mountains for this first-ever TV competition to search for the most well-rounded male and female outdoor athletes across multiple disciplines. The athletes competed on high-altitude courses between Durango and Ouray, Colorado, that tested overall skill, speed, and endurance in three mountain sports: backcountry skiing, mountain biking and sport climbing- all to see who is crowned the Ultimate Mountain Athlete. The 6 episode series culminated with both a male and female winner driving away in the brand new Toyota Tacoma.
