Remy Metailler is no stranger to flight.
As a frequenter of Red Bull's famously aggressive Rampage downhill competition, the biggest show in freeride mountain biking, Remy often competes alongside the world’s greatest freeriders, evolving the sport with innovative descents, features and drops into a winning run with the hopes of standing atop the podium.
As a Squamish local and Whistler regular, we hit the trails in Squamish to ride one of Remy's favorite lines, Dirk's Diggler (after a few photo requests from fan's who spotted him in the parking lot).
In addition to being a top-nitch athlete, Remy is a class act. As an outdoor photographer working in often crazy conditions, it’s a pleasure to explore the trails with someone so genuine and talented. Calculated and fearless are easily two words that come to mind.
